About Us
We are a specialist contractor and sub-contractor carrying various aspects of roof, clad and facade works in a variety of sectors. We work for main contractors, directly for clients, developers and consultants. We are based and work predominantly in the central belt but also work throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK
Our History
Specialist Cladding Services was set up in Feb 2023 by Alex Gerrie. Having worked for several tier 1 main contractors and some of the biggest roofing and cladding contractors in the UK, Alex’s aspiration was always to start up his own business in the Roof, clad and Facade sector. This came to fruition in 2023 and Alex’s wife Candace, a Main Contractor Quantity Surveyor, decided to join him in early 2024 to provide commercial and financial support.
